About

Paul Rideout (b.1986 in Kent, UK) is an emerging artist based in Manchester, England. In 2025, Rideout received a Distinction in MA Photography from Manchester Metropolitan University. He has exhibited work at the Imperial War Museum North as part of a documentary called Donald Campbell: The Forgotten Generation in association with Chila Burman exhibition Chila Welcomes you, as well as another group exhibition at Circle Square and The Holden Gallery in Manchester and was featured in the Bloom Exhibition at the School of Digital Arts in Manchester.

Working primarily with photography, Rideout also uses sound and video, as well as working collaboratively with artists from other disciplines, using abstraction, and fictional narrative and drawing on cinematic, music, and literary references to explore themes of impermanence, place, and perception through walking, repetition and overlooked urban spaces.
